Digital Marketing in the Middle East

Middle Eastern digital marketing is skyrocketing.  Twitter and Facebook are two of the most growing social networks around the world.  They are being used for all different purposes including recreational use, reconnecting with friends, marketing, and even as a tool to fuel the revolution in Middle Eastern countries.

Before the Revolution on Tunisia and Egypt between 15 to 40 thousand people had a Twitter account.  After the Revolution, there were about 5.5 million users!  The increase was about 136%, which reveals that it is now a household item, much like Facebook.  Researchers predict that the number will only increase in the Middle East.
